CALLING ON ALL VIETNAMESE CITIZENS TO PROTEST
AGAINST THE DICTATORSHIP OF NGUYEN PHU TRONG
On 31st Jan 2021, 180 members of the Communist Party Committee started voting Nguyen Phu Trong, a 77 years old man, to be the General Secretary of the Vietnam Communist Party for the term 2021-2026. In Vietnam, the General Secretary has the most authority power.
The fact that Nguyen Phu Trong has been re-elected for the third term has broken all the regulations of the Vietnam Communist Party:
1 / Regulation No. 214 on the age of the Politburo member’s re-election is not over 65 years old;
2 / Clause 1, Article 17 of the Vietnamese Communist’s Charter states that the General Secretary must not hold the position no longer than 2 terms.

Over the past few years, as the Vietnam President, Nguyen Phu Trong has demonstrated himself as one of the most inhuman people in the history of Vietnam and the world because he has not issued any special amnesty for prisoners.
Nguyen Phu Trong strongly protects and maintains the dictatorial regime of Vietnam Communist Party to retain their power as well as plunder, corrupt and destroy national property and resources.
Nguyen Phu Trong continues to block Vietnamese’s pursuit of freedom, multi-party democracy and a strong Vietnam nation.
Brotherhood for Democracy calls on all Vietnamese citizens to be united and stand up together to bring down Nguyen Phu Trong as well as abolish the dictatorship in Vietnam.
